write a research project proposal (1 page) on operating systems including a specific title

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES
ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS

Assignment Goal: each student will master how to write a research proposal that is the first step of a research project including (1) investigating literature related to a special research topic to identify a research problem, (2) creating your initial novel approach to the research problem, and (3) planning future works such as scheduling different tasks monthly.

Note: each student must do an independent work for this assignment (i.e., two students in one research team must do different works individually for this assignment.)

After finishing this individual assignment, a student may continue to either work on the project proposed in your solution to the first assignment, or choose a new research project (either individual one or team project with two members). Finally, you will finish a programming oriented research paper that needs simulation results generated by your software.

Grading Policy:

Research background of your selected topic 40%

Your independent feasible/initial new method 50%

Future research plan such as monthly scheduled tasks 10%

1. Undergraduate Student (100 points)

Please do your best to write a research project proposal (1 page) on operating systems including a specific title, your name, your proposal including (1) existing research techniques on the relevant research subject, (2) your feasible new idea, and (3) a future research plan, and cited references. Literature investigation is a major task. So you need to search for relevant publications (for example, may visit IEEE Xplore, then select IEEE Xplore, finally may use keywords to find latest research publications).
