2. Why is the role of the database Administrator (DBA) most important?

3. Consider a two dimensional integer array of size n x m that is to be used in your favourite programming language. Using the array as an example, illustrate the difference between (a) three levels of data abstraction, and (b) between a schema and instances. When you fill the values in the array, the first 9 digits of the first row must be your registration number and first 10 digits of the last row must be your mobile no.

For example, if your Registration no is D202119178 and mob no is 9153159313 then your array will be filled up as

4. Draw the structure of a complete database system to depict the responsibilities of each module (Storage manager and Query Processor )in the overall system.

5. Suppose you have been assigned a project "College Management System" for your own Institute. Your role in this project is to design the database for it. So you draw the required E-R diagram for it using proper symbols.

NOTE: You must include these five entity sets: Student, Teacher, department, Subject, Classroom with minimum five attributes of each. If you wish you may include a maximum of ten entity sets in this diagram.

You must show the primary key foreign key relationship, and all possible types of attributes using their proper symbols.
