  1. Create a new solution/project to display a greeting. Call it Greetings

 

  1. Set the form Text property to “Greetings”.

 

  1. Using a Label control display “Enter Your Name:”

 

  1. Using a Text box control create an input box to accept a name. It should not accept numeric characters.

 

  1. Add a Show Greeting button at the bottom of the form – clicking on the button should display a greeting of your choice that includes your name which has been inputted

For example, “Hello Jane” or “Good morning Marcus!” or “Welcome to CIS 265, Jamie.”, etc.

 

  1. Add an Exit button at the bottom of the form – clicking on the button should exit / close the application.
