1. Identify a Business Problem – Determine 2-3 questions you want to answer based on your topic.

2. Capture/Gather Data – Gather data that will help meet your user story. There are several sources you can use to get data. Many data that you will find, will need to be formatted or cleaned so that it is easy to use in Tableau for analysis.

3. Analyze & Explore data- (Root cause analysis) – Use Tableau to explore the data so that you can identify trends in the data and find causes for data anomalies

4. Get the message across (Tell a data story) – Create a Tableau dashboard or story that answers your question

5. Implement Change – Make a recommendation to your audience based on your findings.
