Jonathan Isaac scores 10 points in Magic win after missing 2 and half years

After speaking briefly with the coach Jamahl Mosley, Magic forward Jonathan Isaac stood to the scorer's table and calmly took off his shooting shirt.

The 19,196-person Amway Center sold-out crowd gave him a standing ovation as he entered the game in between two free shots from Jayson Tatum.

Since tearing the ACL in his left knee on August 2, 2020, while playing a game in the Orlando bubble, Isaac, 25, had not participated in an official NBA game.

As the Magic defeated the Celtics 113-98, Isaac finished with 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting in just under 10 minutes of action.

The Magic's next offensive possession resulted with Isaac making a 13-footer that went right over Brown.

Just under 412 minutes passed during Isaac's opening shift. He added a layup in addition to the jumper over Brown, but he only made 2-of-5 shots from the field overall.

He hit two 3-pointers, grabbed two steals, and on his final play of the game, Paolo Banchero received one of his steals for a dunk.

On December 30, 2019, he played his final game at the Amway Center, contributing 13 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks in a defeat to the Atlanta Hawks.
