At Taiwan's Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium on Thursday, the Cuba-Italy Pool A game of the World Baseball Classic will resume.
Cuba will be hoping to recover and get back on track here in Taiwan after suffering a difficult 4-2 setback to the Netherlands in its opening game on Tuesday.
Italy's opening match of the 2023 Classic will be this one. It has competed in every WBC, using a Cinderella tale to achieve its highest result (seventh) in 2013.
On Tubi, the match between Cuba and Italy will start at 6 a.m. EDT. The following channels offer games: FOX, FS1, FS2, Tubi, or FOX Deportes.
During the 2023 World Baseball Classic's opening phase, the 20 teams have been divided into four pools of five teams.
The two teams with the best records in each pool at the end of this round advance to the knockout stage, with each team playing the other teams in its pool once each.
In Pool A, together with the Netherlands (1-0), Chinese Taipei (0-1) and Panama, are Cuba (0-1) and Italy (yet to play) (1-0).
All games will be broadcast live with audio on Sirius XM, TuneIn, MLB.com, and the MLB App.
