Powerball jackpot grows to $747 million after no winner Saturday

With no lucky winner in Saturday night's Powerball drawing, the jackpot has grown to an expected $747 million.

The numbers that were drawn was: 2, 8, 15, 19, 58 and Powerball 10.

The $747 million Powerball jackpot Monday night is the ninth-largest in U.S. lottery history.

Maine won a $1.35 billion Mega Millions reward three weeks ago, while California won a record $2.04 billion Powerball jackpot in November.

Due to the difficulty of winning by matching all six numbers, the jackpots swell to enormous proportions.

Because of this, jackpots may keep growing for months, like the $700 million one from Saturday night.

On November 19, no one was able to beat the odds of 1 in 292.2 million and win the Powerball jackpot.

A 29-year annuity winner receives $747 million. Winners generally take $403.1 million in cash.

You may play Powerball in 45 different states, plus DC, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.
