A winning Lucky Day Lotto jackpot ticket worth $850,000 was sold by a well-known gas station and convenience store chain in Waukegan over the weekend.
This is the fourth lucky player who has played Lucky Day Lotto this year to win a jackpot of $500,000 or more.
The winning ticket, which matched all five numbers for the Sunday drawing, was purchased at Thorntons in Waukegan, at 3233 Grand Avenue.
To win the top prize, enter the drawing on February 5 in the evening. These were the lucky numbers: 17-20-22-24-35.
A local retailer will benefit from a player's victory by receiving a bonus of $8,500, or one percent of the winning prize amount.
In this Lucky Day Lotto drawing, there were around 25,000 winners of additional prizes worth between $1 and $200.
The Illinois Lottery advises all lucky winners to sign their names on the back of their winning tickets and store them safely until they're prepared to collect their winnings.
